We are members of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (SA Division).

Conveyancers ensure the legal transfer of the ownership of property from one person to another when buying or selling property or businesses in South Australia.

The transfer process involves your Conveyancer completing these tasks for you:

  • Certificate of Title searches

  • Providing advice on the effect of your contract

  • Preparing and certifying legal documents

  • Preparing settlement statements

  • Liaising with the seller or buyer’s Conveyancer over settlement arrangements

  • Completing settlement on your behalf

  • Searches of Government Departments and Local Authorities

  • Holding deposit funds in a Trust Account

  • Liaising with mortgagers and financiers

  • Calculating rates and tax adjustments

  • Depositing funds from the sale and settlement into your nominated account

  • Lodging documents at Land Services SA

  • Conducting settlements and communicating through PEXA (online property exchange platform) with the banks and other parties involved in a transaction

NICOLE CLEGGETTCertified Practising Conveyancer
Nicole is a Certified Practising Conveyancer with nearly 13 years’ experience in all aspects of property conveyancing and land division.

Strathalbyn Conveyancing is Nicole’s business, where her focus is on providing clients with a smooth and successful settlement.

Nicole joined the previous business ‘Chris Rodgers Conveyancing’ in 2002 as a Conveyancer’s Assistant. She completed an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Conveyancing) to become a registered Conveyancer in 2008.

Langhorne Creek is home to Nicole, her husband and children. She enjoys spending time with family, reading and volunteering with the local netball club.

KAREN FRANCISRegistered Conveyancer
Karen completed her Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing in 2018 and is a Registered Conveyancer.

Karen joined the previous business “Chris Rodgers Conveyancing” in 2012.

Karen lives on a small farm on the outskirts of Strathalbyn with her husband, daughters and a menagerie of animals!

Karen has been actively involved with local netball and basketball clubs and is looking forward to spending more time travelling, horse riding, gardening and reading her numerous books!

MICHELLE LOECHELRegistered Conveyancer
Michelle joined our team in December 2019. She is a Registered Conveyancer and gained her Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing in 2016.

Michelle has also worked as a Registration Officer at the Land Titles Office.

She lives in Monarto with her husband and two dogs and has just had her first baby, Archer. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends, travelling and reading.

SUE GEISLERAdmin Assistant
Sue joined the Strathalbyn Conveyancing team as our Conveyancing Assistant in June 2020 after many years in the medical industry.

Her aim is to provide a quick, neat, and efficient administrative service to assist the conveyancing team and our valued clients.

Sue lives on a small farm in Tooperang with her husband, and numerous chickens, sheep and alpacas. She is a keen gardener, enjoys reading, travelling, and seeing their two children and four grandchildren.

BELINDA GOODRICHConveyancing Assistant
Belinda is new to our team and has joined as a Conveyancing Assistant. She is keen to learn all things conveyancing and comes from a background in administration.

Belinda lives in Strathalbyn with her husband, two children and puppy ‘Banjo’.
