2020 has seen many challenges for a lot of people.
Now it is great to see Covid restrictions are beginning to ease, and the community is getting back to business. The Government assistance for small business has been critical in keeping us going and we are thankful that we live and operate in South Australia.
Nicole Cleggett took the reigns from Chris Rodgers in July of 2018 and will celebrate her 2nd year anniversary in business. Nicole has been working with Chris for nearly 18 years and has gained valuable knowledge and experience under his expert guidance. Nicole enjoys talking with clients about their future plans and researching options to best meet client’s needs.
Karen Francis achieved her registration as a Conveyancer in May of 2019 after 4 years of study and is becoming very proficient in the electronic settlement process. Karen has a friendly manner and her attention to detail is highly regarded by her clients.
Michelle Loechel joined our team in December 2019 to assist the Conveyancers in their roles and will be coming on board as a Registered Conveyancer later in the year. Michelle has valuable experience from a busy Conveyancing office in the city and time working as a Registration Officer at the Land Titles Office. Michelle enjoys following through with files and contacting clients to let them know that their property has settled.
Unfortunately, during the Covid lock-down our office said goodbye to Chris Rodgers. Chris has been assisting our office part-time over the last 2 years and is now officially retired from Conveyancing. Chris opened his office in Strathalbyn 30 years ago, initially in Albyn Terrace before moving to Dawson Street and then Catherine Street – all within the same block! Chris will be missed greatly by clients and staff alike. He has been a great mentor to both Nicole and Karen and his knowledge regarding the intricacies of the Conveyancing Industry is second to none.
Our team is confident that we can take up where Chris left off and pride ourselves in the knowledge and experience we have gained under his mentorship. Electronic Conveyancing is our strong point and we are well prepared for the mandating of E-Conveyancing come August this year.
